Animal Cruelty

                     Animal Cruelty is a very horrible thing. A lot of people harm helpless little animals that don't deserve to be killed. In this essay, I will talk about the horrible acts done by humans. The animals cannot defend themselves against the humans.They need us to stand up for them. I will tell you all about dissecting in schools, fur farms, and U.S. labs. People can be really cruel when it comes to animals.
                     Schools in the United States make kids dissect pigs, frogs, and worms. Some places even dissect cats! Some schools refuse to dissect cats. They don't want children learning science with killed cats. In the U.K., methods of killing animals for schools is using chloroform or ether, dislocation of the neck, suffocation with carbon dioxide, stunning, or freezing. All of these methods are just wrong. I don't understand why people have to hurt animals to learn science.
                      In the United States and other countries like China, there are "fur farms."  These so-called "fur farms" have people working in them with horrible jobs. They skin the animals. In China, they skin the animals while they are still alive. It is very cruel. They also breed them in these farms. I for one think these farms are awful and should be stopped. When they skin them (alive or dead) they take their fur to sell. What many people don't know is a  alot of these animals are rare types and could go extinct. They should leave the rare types of animals alone, and a matter of fact, leave them all alone.
                    The saddest part of animal cruelty is what they do to small animals like bunnies. In U.S. labs, they force products into their little eyes and they end up going blind. That is called "the Draize Test." It was named after John H. Draize who was a toxicologist who  developed the test. They also dissect animals in the labs as well.  They test alot of chemicals and products on animals and it is not right.
                    In conclusion, people can really be evil. No animal deserves to die. They did not do anything to anyone to die the way they do. I think that we should stop hurting animals and think about if we were in their position, would we want to die again and again for no reason what so ever. Our Blindness makes them suffer.
